last year in the 20's

This year I wanted to do something fun for Erik because he has been working and going so hard. So I did a surprise party for his 29th birthday, it was a surprise until Ethan the night before said, "Please bless dad will be surprised at his surprise party. and then looks and me and said oh sorry mom" and I just bust up laughing.

Some of the guests, My friend Teri is who's house we did this at, and I dont even have a picture of her or her husband Jake. They were a big help, got water balloons ready for the kids and Jake is a DJ so he had some good music going on in the back ground. There in the back is Craig, Erik's mission buddy that was the biggest surprise. 

Erik said that was the  best Birthday he has ever had so I guess I did it right this year.

petting zoo

 Last week we went to a petting zoo, it was fun that camel be hide us was HUGE...

 I was thinking the whole time... this is going to be the day that I see on Discovery Chanel of where the petting zoo gone mad. those horns would have hurt.. But I was just being very paranoid and scaring the kids when they were just fine. 

all in all it was fun, free, and lots of candy. 

Eriks Graduation

 We had a great day last Saturday, Erik graduated from University of Western States with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He did it in 3 years when its a 4 year school!! Way to go babe!

So what are our plans:

 

Well, We are moving to Gilbert, AZ where Erik will work for Foresight Chiropractic.

We are so excited for our move and for our new adventurers we will be having! 

to name just a few...

1-We need to buy bed's for everyone.. Sadie is the only one who has one of her own, which has the crib mattress so might as well get her a bed so I can have my crib mattress back for Mitchell. Also need to buy a crib as well.

2-We don't own a vacuum, we have only lived places that have already had them.

3- Some time soon (hopefully).. would really like to have a vehicle so I can leave the house.

We have been very blessed to have lived the places we have lived and have saved the money we have saved. But now when we move it will feel like a bunch of empty rooms! But I'm still extremely excited and know that everything will work out! 

Thanks for all of you who came to the open house I really felt loved. I will miss Portland, but mostly the friends I have made! But that will be another post I am sure ;)  

pinning ceremony

This was awhile back when Erik had a pinning ceremony. His school is now a University so the name is changed so they got new pins this year.  I didn't know about his ceremony until the morning of (thanks babe)  and I had a party thing to do so I couldn't go but I sent my mother-in-law and the kids to watch. 

We are proud of Erik because he just got his board test results he took at the end of last quarter and he passed!! So he only has to take one more board test sometime, and one more other hard test the end of this quarter! He works so hard and its fun to see him treating people and becoming a great Chiropractor.  He is done in December and then we will see where the next adventurer takes us.

Eriks birthday

Erik turned 27 yesterday, and I missed it (well, I knew it was his birthday but missed him)! I just wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday and tell him I love him soooo much and that I miss him. We will have to do somthing fun when I get back! I Love You babe and am so happy that you are apart of my life.

Happy Earth day!

Ethan had a friend over yesterday and they gathered up some things around outside and we made some pictures with all the fun things from our Earth!


All weekend we worked outside, It was nice weather!! The riding mover is out of commission because of the snow that knocked down the tent thing.. (long story)... so we were at it with the pusher!! And if you have seen our loan its not small. So I gained some arm and leg muscles to this weekend!
I just loved this picture of my boys! Ethan had to wear slippers to church because he had some cuts on his feet! Yeah he should have worn shoes...

SPENCER Eriks pet bird!

This picture might just look like a REALLY dirty window but it has a very funny and amazing story to tell, I have been gone for 5 weeks and when I left, one of the first things my bro-in-law said was how is Erik going to get up in the morning. Well, the day after I left I called and found him still at home having slept through his alarm. So a few days later Erik wakes up to a tap, tap, tap, on the window at 6:00 a.m. and it happened the next day, then the next, so Erik made a new friend and his name is Spencer Eriks BIRD! And that little bird helped Erik the whole time I was gone, I got back and woke up to tap, tap, tap, and I was like.. What Is That! Erik said oh its just Spencer! I'm like WHAT!!! so then Erik told me the story and he said the bird would throw himself into the window sometimes, Erik would just look out at him and he would stop, until the next day.
But the crazy thing is I saw him for 3 days each day at 6 to 6:30 a.m. and when I took a picture of him it was like oh, OK she's back I can go help someone else! Of course the picture didn't turn out very visible and he didn't want to stay and pose!
Isn't that funny! I was amazed and kinda mad Erik didnt tell me he had a pet bird while I was gone, seems how we talked for like 5 min. every other day, I can see how he forgot!

On November 27th Erik and I had our 4 year mark. I've been a big slacker on here, and didn't want to forget it! I have loved the last four years, and am excited for the rest of forever with Erik!

Birthday Surprise

Abbi and Hailey both got to ride in the parade and Rodeo I got such cute nieces!!

We went to the Rodeo both nights Friday night with the family, and the next Erik and I went by our selfs it was great to not worry about the kiddos!

I tried all night to get a cool bull riding picture then I handed it over to Erik and he got this, I thought it looks sweet!

I had such a great time I saw a bunch of family, friends and even got to go to one friends baby blessing so that weekend worked out so good!

What....25!!

Wow, did I ever get a surprise for my birthday! Well it all started on Thurs. My Mother-in-law took me to get a dress for my birthday she knew that is what I wanted, so after I found me a dress we drove home and Erik was sitting on the porch waiting for me, and they said I couldn't go downstairs and that we were going out to Eat with one of his friends. So they took me inside and left me in the kitchen they told me I couldn't go anywhere but there. So in my head I was getting really kinda mad because I was planing on doing all my deep cleaning Friday morning just in case anything was going on. So anyways Erik said "Ok were ready lets go". So we were with Mike his friend and we were going to go pick up his wife at work in Portland and just eat there, So we pick her up and then we go to Panda express and I'm like Ok- not really what I was expecting but whatever. So he's like "well go ahead and eat now, ya that will be good. " So I kinda thought well now we are going back to our house for a pool party, and I was trying to start acting like I should be surprised. But then he missed our exit, and so Im like hunny what are you doing? And then he is starting to drive towards the falls, but Sadie started crying like the deep cry of FEED ME NOW so Im like ok you need to get off here!!! So he pulls off the exit and Im like "Whats going on anyways???" And Erik said, "Besides me and the kids who do you love the most that you want to spend your birthday with???" and Im like thinking ummm........ "My Family", and he said "OK, we are on our way!" And at the moment I didn't even smile because I did not believe him for the life of me, it was 7:30 on Thursday night and I was not about to even think about a 12 hour drive and I knew he had school, a test, and work to do! So Im like nut-hu!!! no-way!! I couldn't believe it at all!! But I said, Hunny "I have to teach on Sunday!" He's like got it covered! So anyways 12 hours later 8:30 a.m. because we gained an hour we arrive in Preston!! And the best part was it is RODEO WEEKEND! (This is a huge thing in our little town, Ok the only think our little town looks forward to all year long!!) Can you believe my sweet hunny packed up Ethan, Sadie and my clothes and everything we needed for the weekend!!

Oh~ I just just love him!! He dun good!!

So here I am just got home from the Rodeo and it just turned 12 so I am now 25! WOW!!

High Adventure

Erik went on the High Adventure with the boys this year, and I told him to take some really cool pictures and some of himself, so he came back with so many pictures and so many stories. High Adventure is about a week long trip that the boys plan, this year they went to the San Juan Islands where they biked and camped throughout four days. They had a great time, and managed to come back alive.

Good, Better, Best

I don't know which thing is just good, or better they are all Best!

But 3 things that are just so nice are:

GOOD Sadie just started to take a binky!! (now its not just me she thinks she has to suck on, yahoo!) you would think I would have a picture of her with one but I don't yet, and this one was just so cute.

BETTER Erik got his Doctor bag, so it feels like he is a Doc. he can check our ears, our eyes and wow, you really can hear the heart beating loud with that thingey! It just seems more real now with this Doctor stuff. Now Ethan thinks he is a Doctor, he found a doc. toy at his friends and he had a break down when we had to leave. So we now know what his next gift will have to be.

This one is for sure a BEST Ethan has done just amazing with this potty training!!! He made it all weekend with only 3 messes even at church he did great. We put him in a pull-ups only for the 2 hours we weren't with him. But Sunday night he woke up and yelled "MOMMY I NEED TO GO POTTY" so he went at 3:50 and then in the morning. And he has made it all day today as well! So Yahhoo!! He totally just loves it now, It might just be because he has gotten like 3 new cars and a ton of treats!! Whatever works, I think! Yeah I am so happy it is not fun to have 2 in diapers.

Safety first

So Ethan found these glasses and just loves them, he has been wearing them everywhere.
He thinks they are sunglasses, so he wanted to go outside, then Erik was wearing a hat and of course Ethan had to wear a hat, what makes me mad is he will Never wear one when it is my idea! (I just was talking to my sister about sending her all Eth's hats because he wont wear them... Well I will just have to see if this hat stays on long.)
So Dad and Eth when to go build us a garden outside, good thing Ethan has his safety goggles on. You never know when something might jump up into his eye!!
