wow its been a while

Yes I have so much to wright about- I don't even want to do it.. But I do.. Because I had 2 birthdays and an anniversary and some more stuff, I'm sure- but as of now..
this is what im doing...

Writing address on Christmas cards. THAT I had to print twice.... Grrrr... the first onces came back fuzzy. Which Im so sad becasue I liked them WAY better so here are the pictures I was going to use on our c.mas card... a unfuzzy picture is better then a fuzzy one right!

Last few weeks

 The Lima Bean wreath... I put together a craft night and we sat and chatted not using our brains and did this fun cute craft! Oh and eat homemade ice cream that was the best part!

 Memorial Day we joined some friends with a 13 foot by 100 feet plastic slip-n-slide!! So fun.. even thought I was sore for a few days after... I was doing some serious slip-n-sliding...That's Terri my really good friend that I made here.. She moved here right before us and I became her VTer and have loved ever since!!

And here is my big boy Mitchell.. he is sure getting big- I think he may walk any day- Kinda hoping so because he is soooo heavy, but also kinda wishing he would just stop trying I want him to be my baby forever!!! Oh and see that tan.. Yes I love the sun- but I also need a hat, I want to get one of those hats you see at the horse races!!! I don't want to much sun.. But its kinda hard when your in the pool so much!

Valentines day is fun- I have always enjoyed it, not only to get gifts but to come up with gifts!  This year I came up with a gift for Erik that I was so excited about. I have wanted to do for the last 5 years, but never have! So this year I said to my self OK 5 year mark I need to get this done. (its kinda like how we have all of our little camera's from off our table from our reception that still need to be developed... I hope they still will develop!) Note to self -DO THAT!!!

So....... what I did was......

I put together our little Love Notes, which where the emails we wrote back and forth from when we met when he was in Texas and I was in Preston. It is so funny reading them, telling each other about ourselves and me asking him for advice on the guy I was dating at the time. If you know how fast Erik and I met and got married you know those Email must have said a lot!

It was fun, he didn't know I had them and he was blown away with how I got them because they were both on our BYU-I accounts which are now non exsisting!  But I had printed them off years ago, probably right after we got married.So he loved it, and I loved it, and it has been so long since I have played with any of my scrapbook stuff- I miss it! I only got 3 pages done so I still have time to play!  It was just a fun weekend, and ended with a great meal that from Erik! 

Girlfriends Christmas Party 09

 Every year my friend Emily and Alisha plan this Christmas party and it is something I look forward to all year. It is sooo much fun and the best food EVER! As you can see in the pictures!

 These were the invitations we received. And this is a little craft/favor that everyone made and went home with. It's a recipe book with several of the favorite recipes complete with pics from the party over the years. I cant wait to try the Cajun Candied Salmon, it was soooo amazing!

Everything was AMAZING!!

The traditional dessert exchange which is always fun and exciting. Everyone goes home with a fun holiday dessert for their family and a cute new serving tray. This year we had a banana cake with carmel and burnt butter frosting, peppermint bark popcorn, chocolate covered oreos, adorable pretzel rod snowmen, homemade oreo cookies with peppermint, peanut butter and jelly bars and fudge, red velvet cupcakes, and a chocolate cheesecake cake.

I took home the banana cake with the Carmel and burnt butter frosting!! Oh it was heavenly!!! I had to give half of it to the missionary because I knew I would eat it all! 

It was so fun I will miss this the most when we move away from here!

My sister has a great idea!!

I want to plan a sweet get together with all the gals during the Christmas Vacation! In order to pick a good day to plan it, I wanted to pick a few days and have you all vote on which day we should do it so that I can see what will work best for the majority! We had so much fun at the party, the kids played musical chairs and read storys, sang song, and ate some aaaaaaamazing food!!

We went trunk or treating after a extremely long day. Sadie fell asleep on the way there and Ethan was so grumpy because he had no nap, so I don't have any good pictures of them but this is what I got. Friday night we just stayed home and played games with Erik's family who all came up because Eriks grandma's passed away.

Happy Green day!! Ethan woke up to a note on the fridge from his Leprecon Eli and a pot of balls, and a note to Erik from me. just so I could get a kiss!

Ethan made a Good Luck Card to Daddy for his finals week this week!! WE LOVE you and know you will do Great!

Happy Valentines Day

I did it,!! and only with in an hour of when he comes home, but I did it!! I make Erik a card every year for v-day, so it was driving me crazy I haven't done it yet! but it is done, Ok~ now I am on to Heart shaped Pizza. Ethan and Kyley will love it, and how much easier can it get!

Hope you all are having a wonderful day, I am excited to read about all of the fun things you did! As for us babysitting and watching a movie if were lucky!

Fun Christmas times at home

Christmas at home was so great, we has so much fun! We sang songs, grandma read us some stories, went sledding played games and watched some good movies! It was so fun, my sister and her family was there so it was fun for Ethan to have Tucker there to play with. It was fun to be Santa this year, Ethan asked Santa for a train so when he woke up Santa had it hiding behind the couch so after he saw the other things I asked him what he asked Santa for, when he said train I took him back there and he was sooo excited.

We went to the Rexburg Open house it was amazing, so pretty! I saw a picture that I want in my house some day, it was of Mary at the tomb with Christ. very pretty! This Temple is neat because it is smaller and they are having it be that you take your names in to do the work so it gets people to do there genealogy. It was a neat thing, Erik and I just have a love for Rexburg because that is were we went to school so we truly enjoyed the opportunity.

We were playing Pit, we love playing games, we were have so much fun! So this is my family, Erik, Grammy, Teresa, Steph holding Sadie, Dad, Eth, Mom, and Abbi my niece! Oh Steph is prego.. I should have been one of the first to know that because I hooked her up with my brother, but no I find out from my Dad after the Christmas party :( yeah Steph I am still mad about it ha!

It was so nice seeing my brothers and there families, we stayed one night at my brother Brandons house and had so much fun, We went with them to the temple and then stayed at there house, that next day we had a party out there with turkey and some goodies, had a ping-pong tournament , it was fun! They game me these movies and books that my nieces used in preschool we watched one today and Ethan loved it, it was about the abc's he loves singing that song.. it goes something like this, "klmnolmno wkyxz no my abcs sing again with me," Ethan is very smart he astounds me every day! he knows his colors how much he ways oh and that he is 2 old!! He sure is getting big!
