Craft night

I saw this at my step sisters house and loved it so I put together a bunch of friends asked Teri if we could use her house and Wallah... 

We had a fabulous craft night with yummy food and GREAT friends! 

   Before-  (mirror I have had forever) 0 dollars

 Sand and spray-paint ($2.50 for SP)

 pick your favorite fabric

 to put behind your frame (my sis gave me this while visiting in ID) 0 dollars

 bought this at Home Depo Hardware Cloth it was $10.30 for 5 ft

so everyone gave me 3$  and I bought 3 rolls

 Turn it around and cut the wire and fabric an inch from the inside of the frame, 

and staple the wire and fabric to back.

that's what I wanted but it was 30$ for a sheet of it..

A group of us gals had our first breakfast club, we use to get together at nights but life is getting to busy for that, and so now we figured Saturday morning was a good time. It was fun Mitchell got to meet some new people. Im going to look forward to next month to get out with the gals again!!

Girlfriends Christmas Party 09

 Every year my friend Emily and Alisha plan this Christmas party and it is something I look forward to all year. It is sooo much fun and the best food EVER! As you can see in the pictures!

 These were the invitations we received. And this is a little craft/favor that everyone made and went home with. It's a recipe book with several of the favorite recipes complete with pics from the party over the years. I cant wait to try the Cajun Candied Salmon, it was soooo amazing!


Appetizers:

Everything was AMAZING!!

The traditional dessert exchange which is always fun and exciting. Everyone goes home with a fun holiday dessert for their family and a cute new serving tray. This year we had a banana cake with carmel and burnt butter frosting, peppermint bark popcorn, chocolate covered oreos, adorable pretzel rod snowmen, homemade oreo cookies with peppermint, peanut butter and jelly bars and fudge, red velvet cupcakes, and a chocolate cheesecake cake.

I took home the banana cake with the Carmel and burnt butter frosting!! Oh it was heavenly!!! I had to give half of it to the missionary because I knew I would eat it all! 

It was so fun I will miss this the most when we move away from here!

#15 (Bride Wars)

So last night one of my friends called me up and said, "I need a break lets go to the movie!" So we did, it was sooo fun, I needed a break to. We got there and yep we were the ONLY ones in the theater, we kept forgetting and talking all quite then realized we had the whole place to ourselves!! It was fun, it just went by to fast! We went to Bride Wars it was cute.

Crative Christmas

This is Heather and I on our way to Enrichment, I had to take a picture because we have been told by SO many people that we could be sisters! She is really pretty so its a nice complement for me. Heather is the mom of Maverick who Ethan says that he is Mav is 5 and so Ethan is 5 and his name is Maverick now!

This was our Quarterly Enrichment last week and it was so fun and pretty! Everyone brought a gift that they created at home, I made a bag, and received a pottery cup with Hot Chocolate! It was so fun to see all the fun things people created!

I want to plan a sweet get together with all the gals during the Christmas Vacation! Twilight Movie

It was good! I wont say to much and let everyone just go see it. Just plug your ears during the previews before the show- or show up late, that was the worst part! But I liked the movie.

Enchanted

I love my neices, they are so fun! We watched Enchanted last night and decided to get alittle enchanted ourselfs! Luckily my mama has lots of red hat stuff, to make us look so good!!

Girls night IN, while the boys OUT!

Ethan found him self a reindeer, He told me that Santa was coming too.

All the kids put on this Captain Moroni skit and made a flag!

What a fun weekend! Erik and Ethan had a father son camping trip with some other dads in our ward, while I had a night of lounging at my friends while watching a movie, and eating some really good food. Then coming home to a bed all to my self.. (well along with Sadie) It was great.

On Saturday Ethan, Sadie, and I along with some other ladies in my ward went letter boxing- it is where you hike around and find boxes and leave a stamp inside saying you were there.. It was fun we never found any of the boxes but It was still a very pretty hike!! It was only 10 min. from our house! So now we have found a good camping spot as well!Ethan was so sick of me taking his picture, so this was the look I got!
