There are few things better then...

There are few things better then Smiling Children!

This is a fun new game of tag, it has a twist to it! I found it on my friends and followed it. The rules: "The topic of this one is "There are few things better than..." and you must finish the sentence. The rules are a little different, though. Read all the way through my post and then go to the comments. If you are the first one to have read it, post in the comments that you are "it" and immediately go to your own blog to post your completion of the sentence. If someone else has already commented that they are "it", follow the trail of blogs through the comments (giving you a chance to read everyone's sentences) until you get to post your own, being sure to copy the instructions for the next person. Pictures are optional :) Have fun!"

Sick sick sick...

We are going is circles here with being sick! I think this week and last we have had it all. Ethan just got done being sick with the cold then the flew, now last night little Sadie got the flew. So she is so miserable, she gets hungry so I feed her then she spews it up everywhere, then the cycle starts over.

I missed my Mothers Who Know group that I was very excited to go to this morning. We meet about once a month and we take turns teaching each other a lesson on Motherhood or family, it is very inspiring. So hopefully next month we will be sick free and feeling good!

New findings!!

My friend she told me about Winkflash, and it is awesome! If your like me you have a ton of pictures on your computer that you keep saying I need to get those printed.

I just sent 50 pictures to be printed for 99 cents!! That is for first time members, but they have a sale going on for 6 cents per picture which is cheaper then anywhere I could find and your orders are always only 99 cents to ship! So Yahoo for pictures, now I need to start scrapbooking!!

I am always looking for good deals so if anyone else has any good deals on anything send them my way!! Thanks Angie
Oh the website is on my favorites if your interested!

Twilight

So I have heard soooo much about this book I am excited to read it. But I have to laugh I am on the longest waiting list ever! 54 of 59 for twilight 45 of 49 for New Moon and 18 of 19 for the last book!! So I thought I was going to be the last one to read it, but it turns out that there are more of us that are behind the times in book reading!! So the waiting game begins!

In Loving Memory of President Hinckley

We will miss you and are happy to know that you are now dancing with your sweet wife!

President Gordon B. Hinckley, who led The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through twelve years of global expansion, has died at the age of 97.

President Hinckley was the 15th president in the 177-year history of the Church and had served as its president since 12 March 1995.

The Church president died at his apartment in downtown Salt Lake City at 7:00 p.m. Sunday night from causes incident to age. Members of his family were at his bedside. A successor is not expected to be formally chosen by the Church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles until after President Hinckley’s funeral within the next few days.

What!! No Church??

I have to laugh of all the years in Rexburg with the the freezing cold wind and snow, Church never got canceled. I talked to my sister the other day and she said it was below zero, so I started laughing when I heard church was canceled today because the snow, it is 39 degrees and this is how much snow there is! So I am sorry for all of you that have to trample through the snow to go to church today, when we don't even have enough to make a snowman, well you just need to move out here to Portland where people cant drive in the snow, even if it is just a flurry, not even an inch!

Achooooo!

This week started out with Ethan with a cold then Sadie, now me, so I had to say thank you to all the things I could not have lived without this week! First Airborne so Erik didn't get sick! (Knock on wood). I would have to say Puffs tissue, I ran out of the ones that have lotion so my nose now hurts! Also this chap stick, (I know I just need to drink more water) but I love this chap stick, it makes my lips feel so good, it is Blistex complete moisture !
We didn't have this next idem so we had to go pick one up the other night, but it has been so nice I can sleep through the night without having to go in the other room to suck out Sadies nose because she hates it so bad and screams bloody murder! But she cant breath if I don't suck her out.. So this Vicks Humidifier made it so Sadie and I got a nice sleep. So the last idem is this Aspirator or if your like me you call it the (nose sucky thing) Ethan knows exactly what that is and goes and gets it for me every time! So without these things this week It would have been miserable, I hate colds but it could have been worse! And now hopefully we are on our way to recovery!

Never to old

I love to play with Ethan, I don't know who likes it more Erik or I, We play lots of things, but the most fun is "Cars." I think I like it so much because Ethan gave me 2 cars. Not just when we play, they are mom's cars always and they are always these two cars. He must know my taste to pick me out a BMW Z4, and some other Hot-Rod car! Its so funny he wont let anyone else play with them because they are MOM's. If only I really had these cars, that would be great I would just be the hottest mom out there! To bad the kids wouldn't fit!!

Bows, Bows, and more Bows

Okay some of you may think that I always have Sadie in a bow but I dont, like last night we went to Target and I had TWO people ask how old He was, I don't know why a pink outfit and pink blanket didn't give the girlishness away but it didn't! So hurray for bows!! I love them all so much!! And Thanks to Tracie and Emily for so many of them!!!

Lonely night

Last night Erik was at school studying late and Ethan crashed on me at dinner, he looked so pleasant luckily his chair was high so he could lean back on it or I think he would have face planted in his food. So Sadie and I watched American Idol until she crashed on me!

Mothers Who Know

Today we started a Enrichment group called Mothers Who Know, it is really exciting because, I just like to think that I am a mother who knows but I'm not! So now I can get inspired each month with some good talks and lessons on raising my family and being a good mom! Here is Julie B. Beck Relief Society General President she is the one that gave a talk about Mothers Who Know! This is just a piece of her talk. If you want to read the whole talk look on my favorite sites.

"Mothers who know are nurturers. This is their special assignment and role under the plan of happiness. To nurture means to cultivate, care for, and make grow. Therefore, mothers who know create a climate for spiritual and temporal growth in their homes."

We also started a Family Home Evening Packet exchange, I am also really excited for this one. We each pick a topic from the conference talks put a lesson together with the whole works, song, game, treat idea and then just make enough for everyone, which there are 13 of us doing it! So that means we will have a ton of lessons to pick from each Monday!

Hey Diddle Diddle

Ethan has been singing this song for a few days now, I get a kick out of it every time!

I know I put lots of quote on here but I love to be inspired and a good quote now and again does that to me! so here is one that I like!
"When we remember that each of us is literally a spirit son or daughter of God, we will not find it difficult to approach our Heavenly
Father in prayer. He appreciates the value of this raw material which we call life. 'Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God' (D&C 18:10). His pronouncement inspires purpose in our
lives."
Oh I need to write about how it is going with writing down the blessings I am getting daily! Well I have never felt so blessed! On the way to Preston our radio, CD player didn't work, we had to unplug the battery. So at a gas station a big truck pulled up next to us and we needed some pliers so after this lady was cooing through the window at Sadie, Erik decided to ask them if they have pliers that we could use? so the lady said yeah let me go ask my husband, well she came back with some new pliers and said, "Merry Christmas" and walked away, so we fixed our Radio and left her a pass along card with our appreciation on the back! Then in Preston we stoped at my brothers house and Ethan sees this train that he just loves, well they told us that we could use the train and give it to Ethan for Christmas! That was such a blessing because we dont have money. Then I saw my friend Tracie and she gave me some boots, and a ton of clothes which just felt soooo good because we really didnt have much of a Christmas. We got money from a lot of family that we didn't expect! Then on the way home I stopped at my other friends Mandi's house in Boise and she gave me a huge sack of toys for Sadie, which was so great because our poor dead dog chewed them all up, so I had no baby toys!!
I know that I am forgetting many things, but those were the few that stood out! I am so thankful for my Family and Friends I know that they have to be inspired, they really help us out a lot. I am thankful to know that the Lord looks after us and blesses us daily!
