The big 3

Ethan turned 3 today, but he is telling everyone he turned 5. And that his name is Maverick- Because yesterday we had a birthday party for him and his friend Maverick who has the same birthday. And then added another friend who also had a birthday last week. We had a jungle safari party for them, we played monkey, monkey, Lion, they had to pull the tail of the lion before they sat down. Then bing bag toss into the lions mouth. And pin the tail on the lion. It was fun, Ethan was shy at first but warmed up towards the end.

Some of Ethan's likes at 3 are:

- Asking LOTS of questions... Whats that mean?? Whats that do??
- Sing songs and play his guitar. (I am a Child of God, Family's, and I love to see the Temple, and Skeeters and the Bed Bugs songs)
- Favorite color is Green.
- Going to Poop track with Dad (behind our house where the cows live, he named it that)
- Answer my phone. (sorry everyone who calls)
- He LOVES to play school and loves to learn- He is a smart cookie.
- And he still loves to get sung to at night, and loves his moms kisses!

My Thankful heart

I am so thankful for this time of year, I am blessed with so much. Everything great has happens in November for me. I married Erik and had two amazing kids in Nov. Something about being thankful falls right in the right place and time for me. I do miss my family at this time of year the most, the fun Thanksgiving feast and the waking up early with the gals.

I take a lot for granite, I talked to my friend yesterday and her husband just left to serve for our country again, they have only been together 1 month of there year mark. And here I am complaing about Erik at school to long. I have a great husband that works hard to keep me happy and our family. He is always giving. I am So blessed to have my Sweet kids who are so full of love, who make me smile every minute. (ok almost every minute)
I am so thankful for my family who I love so dearly who put up with me calling all the time just to talk. I am thankful for our church and the blessings I receive from it. I love my Savior with all my heart. And thankful for all the blessing I have been givin.

Twilight Movie

It was good! I wont say to much and let everyone just go see it. Just plug your ears during the previews before the show- or show up late, that was the worst part! But I liked the movie.

Happy Birthday Sadie

Our little girl turned one today, Wow! She is growing up- no longer a baby. We got together on Friday to celebrate. It was fun to have her open presents and she LOVED the cake. Birthdays are so fun to put together! I had a blast with this one and it was just with the Family. Some of the things Sadie's up to:

- Play with Dolls, (everything is baby)
- Loves to look at books, and pull them all down.
- The phone- or anything that looks like a phone- mostly the remote.
- Loves to play with anything that resembles a ball.
- Not sick of Ethan picking on her yet- she just makes a grunting noise at him.
- Still LOVES to pinch, bite, and poke you in the eyes.
- She can always win a staring contest.
- She sings to herself.
- Some more new word are umpa (Grandpa) dada, mama, and ove bue (love you)!

Parenting with Love & Logic

We started a group where we are reading Parenting with Love and Logic, it is soooo good we had our first group get together. It was fun to talk about what we read. I am loving it and I have only read the first 4 chapters.
I got a little excited and made Ethan a chart and money, its just an up grade from his plain lines and stickers one. But he was excited about this one, so I laminated it and the money so it would last. So the goal is when he makes it up to the ctr ship he gets a buck and then he gets to buy something from the family treasure chest like cars, candy, any little toys.. (if anyone knows where to get a cute treasure chest, I am looking) Anyways this book is so great it just makes you want to do that much better.
I found the ship chart on SupperNanny.com and I cant remember where I found the money.

I cant get my video player to work so here is just some pictures, Ethan is in LOVE with his future missionary tag he thinks he is so cool now that he is a missionary. Sadie is practicing every day and is getting better with each step. I lost the bet by 2 days I was betting the end of Oct. but she was hold off for dad who bet Nov.

We had so much fun at the party, the kids played musical chairs and read storys, sang song, and ate some aaaaaaamazing food!!

We went trunk or treating after a extremely long day. Sadie fell asleep on the way there and Ethan was so grumpy because he had no nap, so I don't have any good pictures of them but this is what I got. Friday night we just stayed home and played games with Erik's family who all came up because Eriks grandma's passed away.
