Updates

We made it to Preston, after a long drive thought the snow, until we got to Idaho then the roads were nice and dry. After we left Portland there was a Huge storm that came through that cased us home. Glad we left when we did! Because in Portland when it snows it is really scary, because there are hills, curves and a lot of experienced snow drivers. So when it snows there you stay home for your own safety. I hope everyone is doing okay in the snow there.

Eriks sister is in the Hospital and is doing much better, here is the update her Mother sent out.
Update on Lisa Arter Hulet—12/23/08, Today. Lisa says that she wants our calls,
but is so weak that she can't talk much. She has asked us to call her a couple of
times per day and read to her from the scriptures or a conference talk. That way
she can feel good without wearing out. We are so happy to be able to do something
since we can't be there at this time. She received a unit of blood today to help
her feel better and give her strength. First, we were praying that she would pull
through this. She has requested prayers that she will not feel so yucky. We are also
praying she will be home for Christmas, but she has to get stronger. They are getting
her up to walk a little and sit up. Michael brought the five children up to see her
yesterday, but they could only visit with her one at a time so Nicole (the ten-year-old) told me.
Hannah is 8, Rebekah is 6, Joseph is 3, and Jonathan is 8 months old. I am including
the address of the hospital and my email in case you want to send a card or message.
I will make sure she gets the email messages.
Hearing from friends and family will lift her spirits. Thank you again for all your
prayers and putting her name in temples near you. She will need a lot of support.
In love and gratitude, Susan & Rick Arter

Mercy Hospital of Folsom

Or Lisa's email which Michael will check when he can and pass on the messages.
It is huletfamily@comcast.net
