Sadie, Sadie my pretty little lady (17 months)

Sadie is talking up a storm. She’s 17 months today and she can say lellow (yellow), Lllue (blue), Apple (apple), Apple (Temple), Aapple (Apostle), happy (happy), happy (puppy), da da (dad), ma ma (mom), E E (Ethan), Sadie (Sadie), jue (juice), Gamga (Grandpa), OK (Ok), yah (yes), namanamana (banana), eye (eye), outeye (outside), no (no) and many more. She is very good at repeating words that you ask her to say. She also has a temper, she will scream loud when Ethan takes something from her.
She is a sweet heart and loves to give kisses and be cuddled.

SPENCER Eriks pet bird!

This picture might just look like a REALLY dirty window but it has a very funny and amazing story to tell, I have been gone for 5 weeks and when I left, one of the first things my bro-in-law said was how is Erik going to get up in the morning. Well, the day after I left I called and found him still at home having slept through his alarm. So a few days later Erik wakes up to a tap, tap, tap, on the window at 6:00 a.m. and it happened the next day, then the next, so Erik made a new friend and his name is Spencer Eriks BIRD! And that little bird helped Erik the whole time I was gone, I got back and woke up to tap, tap, tap, and I was like.. What Is That! Erik said oh its just Spencer! I'm like WHAT!!! so then Erik told me the story and he said the bird would throw himself into the window sometimes, Erik would just look out at him and he would stop, until the next day.
But the crazy thing is I saw him for 3 days each day at 6 to 6:30 a.m. and when I took a picture of him it was like oh, OK she's back I can go help someone else! Of course the picture didn't turn out very visible and he didn't want to stay and pose!
Isn't that funny! I was amazed and kinda mad Erik didnt tell me he had a pet bird while I was gone, seems how we talked for like 5 min. every other day, I can see how he forgot!

I made it home...

Well, after 5 and a half weeks in Cali, I was really happy to come home until I saw the clouds, and the rain, and the pile of clothes I needed to clean and put away. But looking at all the pictures I took here is a little recap (ok big) of what I did! I really did enjoy every bit of it, it flew by. I got to know Lisa a lot more and it was great, I totally feel like I have another sister. I would do it again anytime. I really think I may just talk Erik into moving to Cali when we are done. We did go look at a house, it was ONLY 600,000! It was a fun dream house to look at anyways!!

Ethan and Sadie were loving the sun getting up and heading out back, Ethan in his pj's and boots, and Sadie sneaking around in the garage.

I made Lisa a birthday dinner of Chicken cordon bleu, twice baked potatoes, salad and rolls! ummm! The girls decorated that is why we had Happy New Year hats, Hannah really liked them...
Then a better then ummm Cake, which I made alittle different turned out really yummy!

We headed to Jelly Belly Factory, it was really fun it was just the kids 3 and under.

At there library they have this train so we had to ride!

This is the family I stayed with, they have 5 sweet kids who I got to know a lot better.

But the best part about the whole trip was I talked Erik into coming to get me and the Hulets gave us a night out so we went out to eat, then went to the Marrett and Erik had planed a head and had all this waiting for us when we got back to the hotel. So it was so nice the first night totally away from both kids! It was so what we needed after a long month of kids and studies and from being away from each other!

I'm still alive...

Yep I am still alive, still in Cali. and will be for two more weeks. I have just been keeping VERY busy with 7 kids! But am loving this nice 75 degree weather (some days)! We all have had our turn being sick, and now it came back to Ethan the other day and then yesterday Sadie had 103.2 degree temperature. Not to fun!

But we have been having a blast, and I just feel soooo out of things because I havent read anyones blog or anything, I just jump on facebook now and again. But I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be back and I have some fun pictures I just cant seem to figure out how to download them on there computer! Well for now, Bye and when I get home and have more time I will be back! I hope you all will join be again!

And if you read this Erik... What am I saying he will be studing!!

Im leaving on a jet plane

On Sunday night Lisa Erik's sister called and asked if I wanted to come out and help her with her kids and stuff. So today is my cram day, I have 2 bags to finish and pack, it will be the kids and I flying TOMORROW.... I'm a little scared to be flying by myself with them but also VERY excited to! So if any of you have any good ADVICE with flying with kids, please let me know!! I am flying to Sacramento California and it is only like an hour and 20 min. so it wont be to bad(lets hope). I told Lisa I could stay as long as she needs me. So if I don't post for awhile I'm just hanging out in CALIFORNIA!

so Emily, I don't know if we are ever going to have a Friday!!

So forgetful...

So for the last few days I have been soooo forgetful! Saturday I forgot what time our primary activity was, so we flat out missed it, after I had got Ethan all excited about it. Then last night after talking to the gals at playgroup about Sarah's baby shower, I forgot about it by the end of the day. I am a mess!!! I could have had a night with the gals last night but I forgot! who forgets things like that?? I just need to be on the ball a little more, and write things down! You know when you do forget things you just have that feeling your forgetting everything!! That's me, I feel so out of my element!!

On a brighter note, here are some pictures of the kids, we have liked some of these days that have warm up!

This was a fun new do I tried with Sadie's hair yesterday, it was fun to try I am likeing having a girl and that she is getting hair! Ethan and I have just been laughing all moring at her sweet do shes got going on today!

Fun new bag

Saturday night I got a little creative, my friend Emily saw a bag that looked like this that was priced at like 85 or something so I thought I could make one! It was fun, I didnt get the bow to look the way I wanted but it works!
Erik recorded music and I was sewing in the same room, (love me new quite sewing machine) we stayed up until 1 but it was worth it, we both were doing things we love to do!

If I can get Erik to show me how to put what he recorded on here I will it was good!
