Sadie's 3 months

Feb.13th was Sadie's 3 month mark!

I got a little carried away with the pictures but I couldnt leave any out... She is just to cute!

Happy Valentines Day

I did it,!! and only with in an hour of when he comes home, but I did it!! I make Erik a card every year for v-day, so it was driving me crazy I haven't done it yet! but it is done, Ok~ now I am on to Heart shaped Pizza. Ethan and Kyley will love it, and how much easier can it get!

Hope you all are having a wonderful day, I am excited to read about all of the fun things you did! As for us babysitting and watching a movie if were lucky!

Play-date!

Today I had play group at my house, it was fun, I made this yummy Apple dip for the apples and just had some Trail-mix out. I thought it would be fun for us moms who aren't on top of the ball to make some V-Day cards for our hubby's. Two ladies made really cute ones, so I will just have to copy there ideas, because I didnt get mine made.
This is a pic. of how much fun we had here, I meant to take a picture of the kids while they played but forgot so here is Ethan with all his fun toys!! Ethan has allready said that he misses all his friends, he cant wait for the next play-date! Thanks friends for coming over!!

Girls night IN, while the boys OUT!

What a fun weekend! Erik and Ethan had a father son camping trip with some other dads in our ward, while I had a night of lounging at my friends while watching a movie, and eating some really good food. Then coming home to a bed all to my self.. (well along with Sadie) It was great.

On Saturday Ethan, Sadie, and I along with some other ladies in my ward went letter boxing- it is where you hike around and find boxes and leave a stamp inside saying you were there.. It was fun we never found any of the boxes but It was still a very pretty hike!! It was only 10 min. from our house! So now we have found a good camping spot as well!Ethan was so sick of me taking his picture, so this was the look I got!
Reevkah held Sadie the whole hike, she is awesome! Thanks Reevkah

Splish, Splash

Splish, Splashing!! the tub has to be one of Ethan's favorite things!! He got this boat from a friend and he loves it! He has taken his bath time to a whole new level of fun!! Sadie on the other hand, does not enjoy her bath time she screams, we dont have a tub down stairs so she is not use to the whole idea yet! So here she is before she is scared to death! Poor thing, I guess I should bath her more to get her ready for the pool this summer!

FHE Swap

Today we had our FHE Swap and it was so fun, I now have 13 F.H.E. lessons ready to go!! Here are some pictures of like what we did, This is my friend Emily's lesson, (She took these pictures so I am stealing them from her.) So thanks Em~ These lessons come from the most recent Conference Talks, we have an outline of what needs to be in them so that they are all some what alike! That is what I have been working on for the last few days!! So it is like Christmas here with all my new lessons, just wish is was Monday!

So Thankful

I am so excited for our new Prophet Thomas S. Monson I have always had a love for him and his voice it has always been a comfort to me. I am also excited for his counselor President Henry B. Eyring, first counselor, and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, second counselor. What and exciting time.

I want to bear my testimony that I know that this church is lead by a true Prophet President Thomas S. Monson. I don't know where I would be without this church in my life. I am so thankful for parents who taught me the true teachings. Erik and I were talking last night about if we were not born into this church would we join. And of course you say "Yeah, I know I would." But really I think I was born into it because that is the only why I would have joined. Because thinking back to like collage years, and how much fun I was having, I think if I were not a member I would not understand why this church was the true one, I would just look at all the rules. So I think the Lord knows me well to have me be adopted into such an amazing family. I am so blessed to live the life I do. I am working hard each day to be a better Saint and love this blessed gospel! To those of you who wonder what is so great about our church, I would have to say, the feeling you have with you all the time. The Sweet Spirit that keeps you going along with that constant companionship that you feel from it. I know this to be the only true church on this earth. And I look forward to what each day brings.

Date Night

On Friday I had cabin fever so bad... So I left, and went Shopping! I went to the factory stores and got some good deals at Carter's and Oshkosh on some cute things for the kids!! like 3$ deals! Yeah it was good! Then Erik called me and asked me on a date! So I went home and actually got ready, waited for Kyley's dad (a girl I babysit) to come get her. Then Erik got home from helping a friend move, and had with him a new printer!! I was so excited because our printer has not been working and I am always begging him to get us one.. So, I was extremely happy! (the kid Erik helped moved got it with his computer and didn't need it, so gave it to us, thanks!!)

So we left both kids with my in-laws and we were off. We went to this Mexican restaurant forgot the name, it was sweet they had these singers that sang to each table, it made you feel kinda special, (after feeling kinda dumb, because you don't know if you should look at them the whole time or keep eat.) Then we went to Baskin Robins, I have to say that was the best part... I LOVE ICE CREAM!! We shared a Ch. Oreo scoop and a Mint Ch. Chip scoop. mmmm mmm mm.
